The alliances and mergers between the pharmaceutical laboratories that have been occurring over recent years show that the contract drug manufacturer's business is changing. No longer is the contract manufacturer just an outfit that fills blister packs; it is now a pharmaceutical company in its own right, able to meet the ever more demanding requirements of the French Agency for the Safety of Health Products (AFSSAPS).
To meet the increasing demand of major pharmaceutical laboratories, we decided to strengthen our structure for dealing with quality, control and production. We boosted our management structure and added extra and complementary pharmaceutical expertise.
